Toyota Tamworth Country Music Festival

Featuring the world’s top country music stars across 10 days in summer, the annual Toyota Tamworth Country Music Festival is one of Australia’s greatest music festivals.  The 2026 festival program honours Tamworth’s incredible country music legacy while embracing contemporary culture. Dance to your favourite songs, celebrate excellence at the Golden Guitars Awards, feast at food stalls, listen to buskers on Peel Street, take a photo at the Big Golden Guitar and play along with RocKwiz. 

 

2026 festival headliners

A mix of free and ticketed shows, the Toyota Tamworth Country Music Festival returns 16 to 25 January 2026. Headliners in 2026 include Troy Cassar-Daley, Lee Kernaghan, John Williamson, Orchestral Country, Amber Lawrence, Ashleigh Dallas, Fanny Lumsden, Lyn Bowtell, Travis Collins and so many more acts. Even The Wiggles will be there. Wear your cowboy boots and denim, and join thousands upon thousands of fans to enjoy unforgettable entertainment each day and night.

Away from the main stages you can visit the Toyota FanZone and get up and personal with some of country's favourite stars. The biggest names in country music will play alongside emerging talent in a money can't buy experience with more than 170 FanZone performances on offer for free.

Yes, the Tamworth Country Music Festival is a family (and pet) friendly event, with free concerts in Toyota Park (Bicentennial Park), the Toyota Country Music FanZone stage in Fitzroy Street, busking and live entertainment, there is something for all ages.
